Yes Man

i bought nine movies yesterday ... watched one with my friend last night ... if you read the title of this post you probably guessed which movie it was ... yes man ...

yes man is a jim carrey movie in case you haven't heard of it ... and that's really the only reason i can think of that would make you want to watch it ... if you are a jim carrey fan and you must see every movie he ever makes then watch it ... otherwise ... don't bother ... i mean jim carrey is his usual hilarious self ... and you will laugh repeatedly throughout the movie ... so the jokes and the comedy are excellent ... but the movie itself ... as in plot and what not ... is weaker than a clock radio speaker ...

basically carrey plays this dude who's been through a breakup which has left him very bitter and cynical ... his friend turns him on to this program where you say yes to life ... more specifically the program requires you to say yes to everything ... and so that's what carrey starts doing ... and good things start happening ... and he meets this chick who i thought was way too young - or at least looks way too young - to play his romantic interest ... which leads to the cliche love story of falling for each other then arguing and finally getting back together again at the end of the movie ... and for some reason it takes them two hours to play out this predictable story ...

average movie ... it's not bad ... but it's certainly not good either ... 5/10 ...
